Later, discover colonial city of Granada. Antique buildings, museums, artisanal factories and islets of Granada await for you. All in one day!

The day starts with a morning pick up at your hotel in Managua to take you to Masaya. From the road, you will see the impressive Masaya Volcano with its cloud of smoke and volcanic rocks on the side of the road. Once at the volcano, visit the volcanic information center, go to the crater to admire the active lake of lava for no more than 15 minutes. After it, buy some souvenirs at Masaya’s handcraft market and talk with locals.

Next stop: Granada. The city of Granada is one the most important, popular, and visited destinations in Nicaragua. Nature and history are the two elements that prevail in this colonial city. Granada’s urban center preserves the architectural style that was given by the first Spanish inhabitants. Impressive buildings surround the renowned Central Park, where every visitor can taste the famous vigoron, a traditional Nicaraguan dish. Its park is also known for the many carriages that are offered for short tours around the city. The famous pedestrian street of La Calzada is located on the East side of its Central Park.

Join us and visit its colorful wide colonial houses that have been turned into restaurants, bars and hotels. Granada’s main shore is located just at the end of La Calzada and you can appreciate a beautiful panoramic view of the Lake Nicaragua.
